Gratulation an Christian und das Molecular-Team (siehe SwissStartups Top 10). Sie haben heute eine Partnerschaft mit Roche mit Roche angekündigt. Hier ein Auszug aus der Pressemitteilung:

“Molecular Partners announced today that the company has signed a collaboration agreement with Roche covering the DRP technology fora variety of undisclosed applications. Under this agreement, Molecular Partners will select DARPins to a variety of different targets provided by Roche and Roche will carry out further analyses and development. The targets and further financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.”

Natürlich wirft eine solche Partnerschaft auch Fragen auf:Shootout #1: Ist es für Biotechnologie Start-ups grundsätzlich möglich den Alleingang (Forschung, Entwicklung, Vertrieb) zu gehen, oder muss man zwingendermassen mit einem Big Pharma kooperieren (Finanz- und Vertriebsmacht)?

Shootout #2: Was sagt es über eine Branche/Firma aus, wenn Wachstum grundsätzlich nur noch über andere Partner/Start-ups möglich ist?

Shootout #3: Warum werden die finanziellen Details einer Partnerschaft so oft geheimgehalten (”….financial terms of the agreement were not disclsoded.”)?
